Term & Condition

This is the legal contract between Plus Tutor, the Tutors, and the Clients (Parents/Students).

  1. The Agreement These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between you (the Client) and Plus Tutor. By booking a lesson or registering for our services, you accept these terms in full.
  2. Provision of Tuition
  • Plus Tutor acts as an intermediary service, matching qualified Tutors with Students.
  • While Plus Tutor vets Tutors (including Enhanced DBS checks), the Tutor is responsible for the delivery of the educational content.
  1. Fees and Payments
  • All lesson fees must be paid to Plus Tutor via our secure online payment portal.
  • Payment must be made in advance of the scheduled session.
  • Plus Tutor reserves the right to withhold tuition services if payments are not received by the specified due date.
  1. Cancellation and Rescheduling
  • Notice Period: To cancel or reschedule a lesson, the Client must provide at least 24 hours’ notice.
  • Late Cancellations: Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged at the full rate to compensate the Tutor for their time and preparation.
  • Tutor Absence: If a Plus Tutor associate is unable to attend a session, we will offer a full refund for that session or arrange a replacement session at your convenience.
  1. Safeguarding and Online Safety
  • Non-Solicitation: Clients agree not to make private tuition arrangements with Tutors introduced by Plus Tutor. All bookings and communications must remain on the Plus Tutor platform.
  • Supervision: For students under the age of 18, a parent or guardian must be present in the household for the duration of the online session.
  • Monitoring: Plus Tutor may record sessions for quality assurance and safeguarding purposes.
  1. Limitation of Liability Plus Tutor does not guarantee any specific academic outcome or exam result. We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from the use of our services, except where required by English Law.
  2. Data Protection Plus Tutor complies with all relevant GDPR and Data Protection regulations. Your personal information will only be used to facilitate tuition services and will never be sold to third parties.
